A GREAT RURAL ESCAPE FOR CAMPING & FISHING |
|
Fernhill Park has three separate camping areas with over
30 sites in total. Camping at Fernhill Park is a bush experience yet is well
appointed with facilities. Fresh drinking water is close at hand with taps
conveniently placed through the camping areas. Showers & toilets are provided as
well as picnic tables (with seats attached), BBQs & fire pits. Firewood is
available. For
camp fees go to the
pricing page. Use the navigation on the left to view the areas individually. Choose from well tree covered private sites, open sites for large groups or slightly raised sites for a beautiful vista. There is a large flat open area ideal for family cricket, Frisbee throwing, a game of footy or any sport that requires a large space. The play area spans, in full view, from Camp 1 to Camp 2 so it is easy to watch all the fun from the comfort of your camp site. Although well out of sight fishing dams are all within easy walking distance of camp sites. Munna Creek, which flows along the eastern boundary of the property, is lined with lush rainforest species and provides a cool environment for a refreshing dip. The diversity of landscape & the overlapping of climatic zones makes Fernhill home to a huge range of species. Bird watching is particularly rewarding. Gum flowers attract a wide variety of parrots as well as nectar feeding animals such as sugar gliders. Featured facilitiesToilets. BBQs. Fire pits. Water. Picnic tables. Firewood available.
